About Me

My path ran from Andersen Consulting and Accenture to Google in Mountain View, then a decade in the Gulf. I built RAKBank's enterprise architecture practice from the ground up, then led group-wide architecture and information security at Al-Futtaim in Dubai. Today I hold custodianship of British Columbia's land title systems: the legal record beneath an entire province's property market.

My security thinking was shaped inside The Open Group's Jericho Forum circle in the 2000s. I co-authored papers on de-perimeterisation with a founding member, years before the industry named it Zero Trust.

Across all of it, one conviction: governance is the accelerant. The guardrails are what let institutions move quickly on systems they cannot afford to get wrong.
